After the client has confirmed the project, immediately the project management team of Myan Trans gives a green light to the professional translation team, certified translators do research to build a glossary and terminology for the related industry. Then, the qualified translation team starts the translation process. After that, the files are sent to native editors who then edit the text, finally the version is passed on to professional proof readers before the file goes to layout designers and quality controller.
In the translation process, typesetting and layout is one of the most important stages at Myan Trans. The majority of clients want their projects completed hassle free, and our one stop shop provides this.
We have two types of layout and typesetting methods. We use CAT tools such as SDL Trados, Wordfast, MemoQ, Memsource, and Lingohub. When we use these methods, we don’t have to spend much time on layout, which saves time. The tools process everything, making it a one stop finished layout. But if we use manual options, our layout designer takes time and care with it. As you know about Myanmar font, we have several fonts. However, three of them, Zawgyi One, Unicode and Myanmar 3, are the major fonts. Some of CAT tools don't support Myanmar 3, Win Researcher and other Win fonts. When that occurs, we use the manual method.
